Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 07/23/2017

It was a three way race for the Sunday night ratings, as ABC, CBS and NBC all post similar numbers, in each category. BIG BROTHER was the night's #1 program, collecting 7.3 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. CANDY CRUSH, which followed, is now a dead show airing, doing no better than the encores on the night.

NBC won the 7 PM hour, with SUNDAY NIGHTS WITH MEGYN KELLY. The news program drew 5.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49. An encore airing of SPARTAN: TEAM CHALLENGE lead into the season finale of the series. But the encore was a solid #2 in the 8 PM hour, while the season finale did only slightly better better than the low rated AMERICAN GRIT.

ABC was the most consistent network of the night, winning the 9 and 10 PM hours. CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD tied BIG BROTHER in total viewers, with 6.1 million.
